How to Volunteer

If you have a little spare time and you would like to help in school we would like to welcome you on board!

There are obviously some safety checks that the school has to make, so any volunteer would be subject to a DBS and List 99 Check to ensure that you are suitable to work with children. In addition, the school has a policy of ensuring that any volunteer only has 'supervised' access to children whilst on our site. This means that there will always be a staff member close by when you are helping with children.

We always need volunteers for school trips or local walks. You are also welcome to volunteer for one off sessions. 

Finally, if you have a child or children at our school we will try and find you a placement in a different class to them so that both you and your child/children can keep a little distance which we have found works best for everyone!
