Welcome to Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School.

I am delighted to be able to share our Ofsted report from 4th and 5th October 2022. We continue to be a good school and have been given fantastic feedback in many areas of school life.

'Pupils’ behaviour is calm and purposeful. Clear routines and adults’ high expectations of pupils mean that the school is a very happy and calm environment'.
'Pupils enjoy coming to school'.

'Teachers have strong subject knowledge in the subjects they teach. They skilfully implement the curriculum'.

'Leaders have a steely determination that all pupils will thrive. They have created a culture where all adults share this vision'.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions of your life. Your most precious child is starting their learning journey and for some, the first time away from you for a whole day.

We want all our children to enjoy and get the greatest benefit from the first part of their learning journey and be prepared for the next stage.

At Hatfield Peverel our vision is to inspire your child to enjoy and learn for life. We make learning interesting, engaging and fun,and our children enjoy coming to school.

In a safe, happy and welcoming environment we build on their strengths, recognise their effort, and teach them to ask questions, develop independence, challenge themselves and invite curiosity and creativity.

Through interaction and active learning we constantly strive to improve their learning and our school.  Take a look at our website and join us for a visit anytime or call the school for information.

We have plenty of parking space, are near to a local train station, have close community ties and are an Ofsted rated Good school, with outcomes exceeding National and Essex.
